The Ides of March achieved early success with their single ‘Vehicle’ from the 1970 album of the same name. The writer of that song, Jim Peterik, would have much greater success later on as a founder of the band Survivor, as well as, a hit song writer for 38 Special and others. But ‘Vehicle’ is a sticky song on my playlist since forever ago because of it driving rock sound (with horns too!). It’s definitely a ‘roadtrip playlist’ song if you have one.
